For Physicians

If you have a question for Dr. Spitzer, you can post it for presentation on this blog.  Dr. Spitzer will select those questions that seemed to be of general interest.  If the patient lives in the New York Metropolitan area, the best thing to do is to have her make an appointment with Dr. Spitzer for him to consult onher case personally.  Alternatively, Dr. Spitzer may select certain cases to respond to, that seem to be of general interest to medical providers.

Please note:  Many of the problems treated by the center have no clinical guidelines and require a tremendous amount of experience and clinical judgment (and sometimes even trial and error) to properly diagnose and treat.  Even when published guidelines exist, they need to be applied to the individual woman by her own health care provider.  Dr. Spitzer’s purpose in this blog is to educate not to recommend a course of management.  Please carefully read the Legal disclaimer about medical information provided on the site.

Dr. Spitzer reserves the right to edit questions in order to shorten them or modify them so that they can be of general interest.  Answers to questions will only be posted on this blog and not replied to the questioner's e-mail address.  Those questions not selected will not be answered.  Please do not provide any personal information since this may jeopardize the confidentiality of your patient’s protected health information under HIPAA.
